    Maud joined PAI in 2019 and heads PAI’s US Team. She has been involved in the Refresco and Tropicana Brands Group transactions.

    She was previously with Investcorp where she spent more than 18 years, most recently as a Managing Director in New York and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. She started her career in M&A at Salomon Brothers and Merrill Lynch in London.

    Maud graduated from ESCP and holds a Master’s in Corporate Law from the University Paris XI.

    Gaëlle joined PAI in 2004 and is the Head of the Food & Consumer Team. She has been involved in a number of investments including Alphia, Asmodee, B&B Hotels, Chr. Hansen, Ecotone, European Camping Group, Euro Ethnic Foods, Froneri, Labeyrie Fine Foods, NovaTaste, Perstorp, Roompot, The Compleat Food Group and United Biscuits.

    She started her career at Unibail, where she spent two years, before spending four years at Group Casino.

    Gaëlle graduated from ESSEC in 1997.

    Richard joined PAI in 2009 and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Investment Committee. He also heads the Client & Capital Group and is responsible for managing all interactions with the firm’s investors, as well as its debt financing activities.

    He started his career at UBS in London and Hong Kong. He then worked at Lehman Brothers (and following its acquisition, Nomura) where he became Managing Director and Head of the European Corporate & Leveraged Finance group, and was also a member of Lehman’s Global High Yield Commitment Committee and European Investment Banking Executive Committee.

    Richard graduated from the University of Birmingham.

    Colm joined PAI in 2006 and heads PAI’s UK Team. He has been involved in a number of investments including Audiotonix, Azets, Froneri, HKA, Kwik-Fit, M Group Services, The Compleat Food Group, Theramex, United Biscuits and VPS.

    He started his career at Hambros Bank in London and New-York working on various debt capital market and advisory transactions. He then moved to Deutsche Bank where he spent eight years in the Financial Sponsors Group working on a number of advisory and financing transactions for European private equity firms.

    Colm graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Economics from the University of Ulster and has an MBA from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and Wharton Business School in Philadelphia.

    Mathieu joined PAI in 2002 and is the Head of the Business Services Team. He has been involved in a number of investments including Albéa, Alphia, Apleona, Armacell, Atos, CEP, Elis, FTE, Global Closure Systems, HKA, Infra Group, IPH, Monier, Saeco, Spie, StellaGroup, The Nuance Group and Xella.

    He started his career in the European Acquisition Finance Group at Deutsche Bank and then in the bank’s Corporate Finance Department in London.

    Mathieu graduated from Dauphine University in 1999 as well as Lancaster University, and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Sciences Po Paris.

    Laurent joined PAI in 2001 and heads the General Industrials Team. He has been involved in a number of investments including ADB Safegate, Albéa, Apave, FTE, Global Closure Systems, Innovista Sensors, Michel Thierry, Pasubio, SGD Pharma and StellaGroup.

    He started his career with Bossard Consultants in Paris and then worked for the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in London.

    Laurent graduated from ESSEC in 1990 and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

    Frédéric is a member of PAI’s Management Committee. He also chairs the firm’s Investment Committee and Heads the Healthcare Team.

    He first joined the firm in 1993 and spent five years in the then Food & Beverage Team. In 1998, he joined Deutsche Bank / Bankers Trust in the European Acquisition Finance Group as a Director and subsequently as Managing Director. In June 2001, he returned to PAI, where he has been involved in a large number of transactions including Alphia, Atos Medical, B&B Hotels, Cerba Healthcare, Chr. Hansen, DomusVi, Elis, ELITechGroup, Ethypharm, Froneri, Kaufman & Broad, Labeyrie Fine Foods, Marcolin, Panzani-Lustucru, Refresco, Roompot, Provimi, Saeco, United Biscuits and Yoplait.

    Frédéric studied at ESCP and started his career with Banque Paribas in the Advisory team of the Private Banking division.
